CNBM Receives Honors at National Building Materials Industry Technology Innovation Prize Competition

On April 7, 2011 "Huaxin Cup" National Building Materials Industry Technology Innovation Commendation Meeting jointly organized by China Building Material Federation and National Committee of the Machinery, Metallurgical and Building Materials Workers' Trade Union of China was held in Wuhan. More than 110 representatives from the building materials ities, building material associations, the industry trade unions of the relevant provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, national trade associations, enterprises directly under SASAC attended the meeting. Xu Yongmo, Vice President of China Building Materials Federation, Duan Youwu, Vice-Chairman of the National Committee, delivered speeches and presented medals and certificates to the winning units.
The annual National Building Materials Industry Technology Innovation Commendation Meeting has awards for technological transformation, technological development and techniques. 46 projects of China National Building Materials Group (CNBM) have received awards, accounting for 34% of the total 136 awards. In addition, the group has received outstanding organization award for the number and high quality of winning projects. Xiong Jiwen, Chairman of CNBM trade union and Deputy Director of the Leading Group of the Technical Innovation Award, attended the commendation meeting and received the awards on behalf of the group. He delivered a speech titled Seriously Carry out Employee Technical Innovation Activities, Develop Group Stronger and Better and introduced 6 years’ experience of CNBM in carrying out the mass technological innovation activities, which was highly praised by the delegates.
CNBM has made arrangements for the 2012 technology innovation award activities and titled it "Southern Cement Cup". At present, mobilization and declaration of the event are being conducted in an orderly manner.
