On April 15, at the invitation of Peng Shou, chairman of China Triumph International Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (CTIEC), Dr. Manoj Choudhary, vice president of the International Commission on Glass and senior technical staff at Owens Corning and Dr. Li Hong, senior scientist of PPG Industries visited CTIEC and made impressive academic presentations. Peng presided over the academic exchange.

In the exchange, the two speakers made representations on "Mathematical Simulation of Transport Phenomena in Industrial Glass Production" and "Review of Glass Fiber Development and Current Development of High-performance Glass Fiber" respectively.

As a PhD in material science and engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Manoj Choudhary is committed to developing glass and polymer on the basis of processes and products, through applications in computational fluid dynamics, engineering science, physics, chemistry and material science. As a PhD in metallurgical engineering from the University of Nevada, Dr. Li Hong has long been committed to glass fiber research, made substantial achievements in research and published a lot of academic papers and reports.
